The Independent Safeguarding Authority is taking over administration from the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB), and vetting of all practitioners (including hypnotherapists) will become a legal requirement from 2011 when the ISA scheme is fully operational.
The NCH Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Certification scheme enables Members to obtain an Enhanced CRB Check and, on return of the result, a certificate from NCH stating that the check has been carried out and the member is declared ‘Fit to Practice’.
